I’m trying to get in touch with someone in the homeschool business for a story I’m working on about virtual schools.
I would like to talk to someone today if possible.
My number is 880-0727.
Thanks,
Amy Moore
Hi Amy!
It was great talking with you. I read the article and I think you did a good job presenting a quick look at some of the pros and cons of virtual schooling. Thanks for contacting us!
Warmly,

im tryin to find a local home school for my son to go to next school year. He is in the nineth grade and i need to know how much it is for this school
Hi Samantha!
Triangle Homeschoolers is not a ‘school’ in the traditional sense. Each family in our group is responsible for all aspects of their children’s education – from selecting the style or method of homeschooling (virtual academy, classical education, unschooling or other) to choosing the curriculum (whether pre-packaged as a ‘boxed’ curriculum or mixing-and-matching from a variety of sources) and setting their own schedules (either following the local ISD’s calendar or making up their own). We don’t offer a program where you can send your child to someone else to be ‘homeschooled’.
Triangle Homeschoolers does function as a school in some instances, with each parent and child(ren) acting as a ‘teacher and class’, but this is usually for field trips or other group special events. Each family is an autonomous unit and TH has no jurisdiction over anything any of our members does as far as the children’s education.
If you’re new to homeschooling, you’re more than welcome to join our group; one of TH’s primarily services is to provide parental support to homeschooling families. If you’d like to talk about it, please feel free to email me directly at wearyourbaby@yahoo.com.
Warmly,
~h
